What are Aircraft Turbochargers, Wastegates, Aircraft Controllers & Valves?

Aircraft turbochargers enable the pilot to take advantage of higher airspeeds and better winds. Aircraft turbocharged engines are able to maintain the takeoff power for a much longer amount of time. Another special characteristic of turbochargers is how it manages to take out energy from exhaust gases that would have been wasted otherwise. Aircraft wastegates are the most common mechanical speed control system and are responsible for controlling the output of a turbocharger. Similarly, they ensure that some of the exhaust bypasses the turbine. There are four different kinds of aircraft controllers: rate of change controller, differential pressure controller, pressure ratio controller, and the density controller. Each type of aircraft controller provides a different function that helps with monitoring variables on the aircraft. Aircraft valves are responsible for regulating and disallowing the flow of fluids in an aircraft.
